Warum wir uns engagieren

Due to the the Corona virus, concerts are canceled, cinemas are closed and football games are banned. Social life, togetherness is severely restricted. At the same time, charitable associations and social institutions, medical personnel and all system-relevant institutions that maintain the supply chain are doing a great job all over Germany - far beyond their personal and economic capacity limits.

As professional footballers, we live a healthy and privileged life. We therefore feel obliged to take on responsibility in these difficult times. Giving and helping each other is the order of the day for us at this time.

Each and every one of us can ensure that the corona virus does not spread further, but only together, we can contribute to our society‘s recovery.

With #WeKickCorona we want to help those who help others and make our contribution to ensuring that after the crisis, our society will be as diverse and strong as before.

Wie und wem wir helfen

With #WeKickCorona we want to provide concrete help on site and help as many people as possible.

That is why we are jointly donating more than 5 million euros to charitable associations and social institutions from all areas of society. Ranging from food banks to medical equipment in hospitals to local homeless help or blood donation services that now need immediate help.

You can apply for immediate help for your charitable or social institution here. And of course we will shortly inform you on our website and on the social networks which institution receives donations from us.

We are convinced that the more people are now standing up for charitable and social institutions in Germany, the stronger our society will come out of the corona crisis.

And because every donation helps these days, you can get involved in the fight against Corona and thereby increase the donation amount.

Because openness and transparency are very important to us, we show all funded projects on this page and via our channels, how the money is used in practice and which projects we support beyond our initiative.
